Pet Rock Festival

Rub your eyes. Put on your readers. It’s happening. The 23rd annual Pet Rock Festival is hoofing its way back to Wyman-Gordon in North Grafton on Sunday, Sept. 12.

Due to the pandemic that shut down the world in 2020, Pet Rock Fest was held as an online event. But like a stuffed animal compared to a real dog, nothing beats the real thing. This will be the fourth year that the festival will be held on the fields at the Wyman-Gordon building.

“We’re all waiting to see people again, go out, be with family and return to a semblance of normalcy,” says Pet Rock Fest founding partner Charlene Arsenault. “Included in that, of course, are events that we’ve grown to love and look forward to for years. We hope, and think, that includes the Pet Rock Festival.

“Charlene and I want to thank Wyman-Gordon Company for supporting Pet Rock Fest again this year,” adds founding partner Jeannie Hebert.   After the challenges we all faced during COVID, it is a good feeling to get together in person for such an important cause for celebration and fundraising!”

This annual event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Wyman-Gordon plant, 244 Worcester St., North Grafton. With a return to this centrally-located and expansive venue, the event is sure to expand in numerous ways, drawing more attendees and participants.
